Each swarm mission completed additionally rewards Empire Points. The list below shows the 1st mission needed to unlock that path to the swarm, and the 2nd mission that defeating the swarm unlocks. Infected swarms may block your paths on the campaign map, and must be cleared to unlock the mission they're blocking, without losing the Outpost. When moused over, the cursor changes, and the item will glow. Collectible objects intermittently glow, with an increasing frequency on lower difficulties.
Collectible objects must be found and retrieved on each map to gain Empire and Research points. There are a total of 10 scouting missions, each mission unlocks a hero upgrade point, and a news article chronicling the downfall of the ancient human civilization.Įmpire and Research points listed are the maximum gained from each mission.
